Promote the experimentation of a technology for organic fertilization of the vineyard: this is the main objective of Life Vitisom. For the values ​​it pursues, Premiata Fattoria di Castelvecchi has enthusiastically joined, in collaboration with Castello Bonomi, project partners, along with other sects, including Consorzio Italbiotec, the Department of Agricultural and Environmental Sciences of the University of Milan and the University of Padua.

The use of this absolutely innovative technology makes it possible to improve the quality of the soil in the vineyards in terms of both the soil structure and the content of organic matter and biodiversity, with positive positive results also on the quality of the vines and grapes. The promotion of the rational use of organic fertilizers allows, in fact, to conserve and restore the organic substance in the cultivated soils, in line with what is reported in the EU protocol for integrated and organic cultivation.
This is also "Viticulture Reasoned": ability to read the vineyard as an ecosystem in equilibrium and to act constantly inside it to preserve its natural characteristics with minimal, specific and precise actions.
