The winter slowly gives way to spring general test: a passage for VITISOM is marked by the resumption of fertilization activities.

This second distribution cycle carried out with the VITISOM variable rate prototypes, aims to compare different types and methods of fertilization (compost, separate solid digestate, manure with or without incorporation) and an untreated witness (with or without machining). This study will allow to evaluate the advantages generated by this technology and wine sector in the field of organic fertilization.

The test vineyard of the company Guido Berlucchi SpA was the first to be affected by large-scale distribution, followed in the coming days by the other companies involved in the VITISOM project.

The research team of the University of Milan accompanies this phase with regular sampling of solid separated organic digestive matrices, compost, manure.
